The bowls were bigger than I thought for a "small bowl. Way too big for my Chihuahuas. Rather than pay to send back, I donated them to a doggy day care center.

This bowl worked well for slowing down my dog's eating, however, the plastic is thin and my dog's teeth punched a hole in one of the pillars which now makes the bowl leak. (We have to add digestive enzymes and water to his food.) Very disappointed.

I bought this for my 7 lb. Maltese. She is 6 years and has always eaten a bit too quickly. We recently added a new dog to the family and our Maltese would eat her food and then eat the new dog's food before I would even think to see if she was done! With this slow feed bowl she is the last to finish and she seems perfectly happy with the new bowl. I would highly recomend this bowl to anyone with a 'garp and swallow' dog!

It's much bigger than it seems in the pictures. Even the small was pretty big for a 4lb yorkie, yet it still works great. Came in a really nice plastic bag.
