I'm very satisfied with this cat tree. It required a minimal amount of assembly that took me about 5 to 10 minutes tops and when I was finished the cats immediately took a liking to it. I have one of the fattest cats in existence, so at first I was worried that when he jumped into the hammock that it would tip the entire thing over. Thankfully it didn't and the apocalypse was narrowly avoided. The only thing I would change would be making the hammock a little bit bigger for those who are big boned and of the feline persuasion.

This cat perch cost less than $100. My cat loves it. He is a big old 10 pound cat who is always curled up in the hammock. The top shelf is a good height for looking out windows. It is a bit wobbly for cat play so I nailed it to the floor. If you nail it to the floor,you need to drill pilot holes in the base board to keep the pressed board from cracking.

The alcove is too small for our cat to use and he never uses the perch below the rope. He does love to play with the rope when a human is swinging it around for him.

After considerable research for a first time cat owner I decided upon this cat tree to hopefully thwart our two kittens increased activity on the living room furniture. Having the scratching posts was a key need as the little ones recently expressed some undesired interest in the leather couch and chair. For the price, I am completely satisfied with the cat tree which was relatively easy to assemble and has a nice look and appearance to it. With the limited space in our current apartment, it is just the right size to provide plenty of room for them to play on without taking up too much real estate in our main room. Day one, as for kitty interest, well I truly think they LOVE IT!!! After placing cat treats on every level in on each sitting space making the new piece an exploration game, they both took to it climbing, lounging and scratching on it right away. One even slept on it the first night while the other still preferred to chill at the foot of the bed. They are both napping on it this morning though, which is big for our little girl who takes a little longer than her brother to warm up and feel comfortable around new things. As some other reviewers have stated, it does wobble and sway a little when built which I think is due to the way the posts are bolted together and I'm not overly concerned about it tipping over. Once I decide where it is going to permanently reside I will securely anchor the top perch to the wall with one of those L-shaped bookshelf brackets, which will surely proved the rigidity for the piece to withstand countless leaps and the roughhousing our little ones like to engage in. The plush covering is soft to the touch and something I feel should be easily replaced when they manage to chew or claw up the fabric. Seems like some additional material and a staple gun would do the trick with repairs or replacement. Again for the price and with a little addition to the structural support, buy with confidence! I am a satisfied customer.

Nylabone Cat Dental Insert-A-Treat Sweetheart Mice

We noticed our newest addition loved to chew things (plastic bags, strings, toys, etc.) so we found the answer to our (and her) dreams. This chew toy is EXCELLENT for cats who like to chew. She has gone through two of them so far. We just fill them up with her dry food and she loves it. Sometimes we add a special treat to the mix. She will do this for 30 minutes at a time and will bring it to us when it's empty. I highly recommend this for cats who like to chew. If they aren't chewers, then this probably wouldn't interest them. Our other two cats could care less. Watch the attached video and see for yourself.

I found my cat chewing on things around the house and thought she might like this toy. Turned out she does, and she chewed it quite a bit every day. Unfortunately, the first toy of the pair has only lasted about two weeks. The tail came off the first day. Luckily she didn't swallow it. After two weeks the body started crumbling, and soon after that I saw that it's not usable anymore. Cats have very strong jaws and sharp teeth, so she chewed the toy to bits. The toy does what it says, but I don't consider it to be a good deal due to the poor durability. If your cat likes to chew, you'll probably have to get a new set every month.

Bought this today for my 2 year old tabby who inexplicably already has yellow teeth with plaque, while my other cat has perfectly white beautiful teeth. Not sure if it has to do with the year of her life before I bought her, because I feed them a high-end diet. Anyway, she is loving this toy. The other cat is somewhat indifferent, so as you can see from the other two reviews, this can be hit or miss luckily for me the cat that loves it is the one that needs it. Kong Noy Toy Duck - Extra Small

These toys are among the best plush dog toys out there, and we've tried several. I don't think any are truly "indestructible" since there's always a dog somewhere that will defy that claim, but these are well made and worth buying for the majority of dogs. Just be *sure* to buy the size that suits your dog; don't buy one too small that can be swallowed easily! Dr. Noys' toys are great in that they always include an extra squeaker in the pack, and the toy squeaker is easily replaceable in its hidden velcro pouch. (Squeakers are not indestructible; that's why they include an extra. But the advantage here is that they are very secure, and can't be eaten.) You can even buy separate packages of squeakers if your dog is tough on plush toys. Or you can remove the squeaker if it drives you crazy! ;-) In the larger sizes you can replace the squeaker with a tennis ball for active dogs.

Pay attention to the sizes listed: extra-small is really small, best for only the tiniest toy breeds or for small puppies. Medium will work for most dogs, but if your dog is a shredder, loves to destroy plush toys, only get the large sizes. If you have certain breeds, like Staffordshire terriers and bull dogs, then perhaps another toy would be a wiser choice. You know your dog.

So if you're tired of buying so-called "dog toys" that are really glorified baby toys and easily destroyed, try these. Ours have lasted for two years with hard play, only replacing the squeakers. Even better, they're usually included in the Amazon 4-for-3 promotion, so you can get one free if you buy four (smaller sizes--selected vendors)! My dog loves these toys, especially the duck. This is the only toy she plays with. She does have several and she carries them all over the house. Even though it is the same toy she has a hard time deciding which one she will choose. Bergan Stack-n-Stor 100 Food Storage and Dispenser (Colors Vary)

Looking for a way to save space in my feed room these seemed like the perfect solution. I had some reservations but after reading other reviews I purchased two storage units. I use them for 50 pound bags of horse feed and I defy someone to get 100 pounds in one. It is difficult to empty the feed bag into the front of the storage unit as you have to keep pushing the feed toward the back to make room for the rest of the bag. I don't find them particularly rugged either as the bottom one has collapsed a little on one corner after only a couple of months use. I appreciate their space saving feature but probably would not purchase another.

Unit is great for storing our dog food. And the stacking feature is nice also. BUT! a 40 puond bag of science diet dog food pretty much fills it.So who ever spect this out to hold a hundred pounds must have been stoned when they did it.

So if you want a nice stackable food storage unit this will fit the bill, just double the size that you need.

I bought 2 of these to keep my dogs from getting into their bags of dog food. Even when I put a lock on the top of the door, my dogs had no problem pulling this open to eat out of it. All sides opened with just one tug of the paw, except the side with the lock on it.

I hate to waste anything, so I decided to store my cat food in it. My cats had no problem opening the door either. Within an hour of putting the cat food inside, I found my 2 cats happily munching out of the container with the door hanging from the locked side.

I believe the problem is that the "hinge" side just has nubs for the door to hook on. It isn't secure at all. So I drilled and added a nut and bolt to each of the nubs locations. In addition I still put a lock on the top of the door.

This almost worked. Now the dogs and cats can only open it a few inches. So I now lock it and turn it against a wall every time I feed them. Between the two bins that is 5X a day!

If you want a locking pet food container, look elsewhere and avoid this frustration!!!

If we didn't have an ant problem I think this would be fine... I like how they stack. But this is not air tight so the ants find it no matter where I put it. It is now completely infested and the dogs won't eat the food and my dogs will eat anything! I'm going to buy a "Vittles Vault 40-Pound Stackable", they are airtight so hopefully the ants won't attack!

I was looking for an alternative to storing horse feed in trash cans. The trash cans take up a lot of floor space and my horses have figured out how to open the top, (everything in my barn has to be either locked or chained shut). I just bought this for my cat, who is about 7 months old, and it's a great toy...BUT, 3 times in the past 3 hours, he has got his paw caught on the excess thread around the ball. I can't leave him alone with this toy.

Somehow the three rings got tangled together. I hold down one end and tug the other end as hard as I can with my mouth but they won't come apart. I also hold the one end in my mouth and swing it around, but that doesn't separate them either.

My Boston Terrier really loves these Petstages Orka products. We've gotten a few for him so far. He's had pretty good success with them holding up for awhile. However, with this product, I think they should make 2 or 3 of the solid blue rings connected and eliminate the cloth ring in the middle. This piece was toren up very quickly. If you can see in the picture on the cloth ring in the middle, there is a small rectangle that is a pinkish/purple color. This is basically just a small piece of cloth that they put over the part of the cloth ring where the glue connecting it is. This piece moves very easily so you can see the glued part. This cloth piece was taken off very soon after he was given this toy to show the 'glued' part which wasn't connected very well. Anyways, if you want the 3 pieces to stay together, you're not going to find that here. However, if you're okay with them getting disconnected, you'll probably be left w/2 of the rings for your pup to play with for a while.

In the case of Hidie, a two-year old, short-haired calico adopted last year, the CATNIP WOOD BALL has been a continuing source of her fun. Whether it's due or not to the bolus of catnip that can be stuffed inside via a snug-fitting plug is open to conjecture. Rather, we suspect it's the noise it makes after being swatted across our hardwood floors since she also seems to like the golf balls that rumble. Since the wooden ball isn't perfectly round but barrel-shaped, there's an undertone of clatter to its passage. So, in the wee hours, we may awaken to "rattle, rattle, rattle, rattle, BUMP" as the toy hits the baseboard. Or, "rattle, rattle, rattle, rattle, SWOOSH" as she chases it into a pile of used bubble wrap and tissue gift paper. (Our living room needs to be tidied-up before company.)

Recently, the CATNIP WOOD BALL has disappeared. I've looked under the couch, dressers and TV cabinet, inside the fireplace, and behind the book shelves, refrigerator, washer and dryer. It's a little too big to be rolled under doors into closets or down the central heating/AC floor vents. I suspect foul play. Has the wife surreptitiously tossed the toy after being aroused from slumber once too often?

I bought this item 3 hours ago and its already destroy. I may not be so upset if the product would not say "Tiger Tested". Kong needs to be realistic. This is supposed to be tested with a tiger but it must have been a tiger cub. I will give a little credit it lasted longer than a regular stuffed dog toy but it also costs more. I have a german shephard and he will tear up a normal stuffed dog toy in about 5 minutes so I decided to try this one and it lasted for more than 5 minutes but less than a half hour. I just wish someone would create a cloth dog toy that would last for bigger dogs.

Nylabone Big Chews for Big Dogs

My two Labs have devoured in minutes just about every "indestructible" dog chew on the market. I really thought that nothing could stand up to their grinders, until I discovered Big Chews. If you've tried other Nylabone products without long-term success, don't worry. My dogs can easily make a meal of those, but not of Big Chews. They last for months and months. In fact, I'm just about to buy a couple, and that's the first time in at least a year.

If you think there is nothing your chewsy pup can't destroy in weeks, days, or even hours, try a Big Chew. They're expensive, but not in the long run.

There are a couple of different shapes, but I've only ever used (well, not me personally) the Beef Bone. (Despite the name, it doesn't have a smell or leave any kind of residue on the carpet.) The Dino Bone doesn't look like it's made of the same material, and the Turkey Leg has a skinny end that I think will get chewed down to a spike.

I have two am. staff. terrier mixes and they are very "aggressive" chewers. They tear up almost anything I get them in a matter of seconds, but it takes them each about a year to get through these things. I get them new ones every Christmas.

This nylabone is (roughly) equal length to the other large nylabones out there. If you've gone through a few nylabones you've probably thrown them out when your dog got them down to the center and part of one end. So is this one any better? It is! The ends on this bone are big. Ridiculously big. If your dog chews through a normal "large" (long) nylabone in a week, it will take your dog 4 weeks to make it through the ends on this one. Sure it costs twice as much, but it lasts four times as long, and if you don't want Fido chewing on your shoes and you're trying to keep appropriate chew toys available at all times this is not only less hassle as a caretaker but it is double the value.

Bottom line: Dogs need new nylabones when they chew through the ENDS of the bones, and this one has *huge* ends so it will last a VERY long time. Hope this helps!

KITTY CITY Pouncing Paws - Motorized Cat Toy

We bought this on clearance, so not even sure it's worth it to write a review, but here goes:

We bought this to cheer up our older cat who was seeming a little mopey after we got a kitten. First off, I left the little wand (with the flippy string end) down on the floor so she could get used to it. She chewed and batted it around, so after about an hour, I decided to turn it on. The fabric cover was so loud, it freaked us both out a bit. After I took off the cover, we immediately both liked it better; the motor still made noise, but it was quite tolerable. But the wand was really fast, so she had no real hope of catching it. She was interested enough, and laid there watching it for a while, but made no real effort to play with it.

Now, the kitten is another story. He was completely freaked out at first, too, so I'd leave it on the floor turned off. Invariably, he began attacking the wand and pouncing on the machine, so I'd turn it on. He'd run away first, then creep back up, mesmerized. Turn it off, he'd pounce. After a while, he crept close enough to let the wand smack him in the butt. Rather than running away, he just laid there! Whack. Whack. Change direction. Whack on the nose. He did this for quite a while, then started wrestling the wand when it came close enough.

Now, unfortunately, we treat it like television for a toddler: whenever we really NEED him to entertain himself safely and not go climbing into god-knows-what, we turn it on for a few minutes. Dinner gets served, the big cat is left in peace, and the little guy sits there, staring, Whack! Whack! Whack! POUNCE. Does that make us bad parents?

I would give this 0 stars if it were possible to do here --it's hard to believe all the positive reviews here about cats playing for hours and hours (perhaps they were written by company owners). I don't usually review products, but feel I should alert other potential buyers to the problems I encountered with this toy. This is the SECOND Pouncing Paws I've tried, I had to return the first one and now I'm returning the second one for the same reasons. (today's date is 5/15/12).

1) The wand with the 'mouse lure' barely inserts into the motorized base. Even after I tape it to the base, within 10 minutes of my cat playing with it (and not that ferociously) the wand falls out of the base. I keep taping it back, but after a few times of this, my cat loses interest and so do I...this was to be a toy he could use independently of me.

2) The sound of the motor is VERY loud, especially on a hard floor surface, which the toy works better on than carpet. So the pet carer has to get used to that...and the noise scares away my older cat.

3) This toy runs very, very fast around the base....there is no speed control, as I've read there is on other similar products by other companies. So my older cat is afraid to go near it for this reason as well, and even my daring kitten seems somewhat intimidated.

4) As many others have mentioned, this product drains batteries fast, and it's difficult to open the battery compartment. Even when turned completely off, it seems to drain the good batteries I had left in it, because they were dead the next day when I turned it on again. And the tiny little screw you have to open with a tiny screwdriver (which you have to buy yourself) is very difficult to screw off and on, to get to the battery compartment.

So for all these above reasons, I do not recommend this product to anyone. As stated before, I'm very surprised at the positive reports. I do wonder how this company can continue to manufacture these products with all these problems, since I assume many others are returning them.

I have a 3 year old cat who recently started chewing on electrical cords. I tried to get him to stop but he kept on chewing. I looked online and a bunch of sites said it was a sign of boredom, so I went to my local Target and looked at the options for cat toys. I picked this thing up because at $25 it was relatively cheap and I'm at school a lot of the time so I figured if it worked he could play with it while I'm at school.

When I got home and took it out of the box I wasn't very impressed, and in fact thought about returning it to the store immediately. My cat started sniffing it though immediately and I figured I'd put it together first and see if he liked it before returning it. All you have to do is put batteries in it, although you need a specialty screwdriver to put the batteries in since they used those tiny screws for the battery lid.

All the product is a stick with string at the end that attaches to little circular thing with a button on it and a cheap plastic cover so the cat can't see the stick, just the string. I turned it on and it seems to go pretty fast and I think it initially scared my cat, but now he's intrigued. For the past 45 minutes he has been actively playing with this thing, which is a record for him. Usually he gives up at 15 minutes when he gets a new toy.

The toy is kind of loud. Definitely wouldn't recommend turning it on and going to sleep. Better to turn it on and leave the house. Seriously.

All in all, I'm happy with it. While it is cheap and loud, it keeps the cat entertained and I can do my schoolwork and all that. And, he stopped chewing on the electrical cords! While I don't know if it's because I bought him this and sprayed all the cords with bitter apple spray, (or a combination of both) at least I don't have to worry about him getting electrocuted anymore. For $25, that's not too bad of a deal.

The Kitty Pouncing Paws arrived quickly and undamaged. It requires three (3) "C cell" batteries. The circular motion is irratic which holds my cat's attention. My cat plays with it every day and night. This is his favorite toy. The batteries last a while, but it would be nice if it had an accomodation for an AC power supply. I will probably go to Radio Shack and purchase what is necessary to modify this toy so that it could run on AC from the wall; however, I will maintain the battery function. The batteries are nice since this toy can be operated anywhere. This is by far, my cat's favorite toy. Friends of mine are getting this toy for their cats.

We got this toy for our three cats and found it to be a cheap plastic turntable type of toy with an untra-cheap crinkly cloth cover. An arm rotates under the cover. It takes $6.49 worth of batteries at a time. After maybe 2 hours of use, 3 hours tops, it slowed down to nothing. We thought it needed new batteries so replaced them. $13 in batteries! Nope! It's just cheap and poor quality and barely turns even with the new batteries. We got it on sale so can't return it to the store. The cats loved it and were not happy when it slowed to nothing and kept stopping for minutes at a time. Tonight it made a few turns and just sat there humming.

this food is great my dog has been on it his whole entire life since his breeder put him on it. but the only downfall is, getting a moldy bag. chicken soup uses everything fresh and if its not cooked all the way and packaged a little big undercooked taa-da moldy bag of food. well i was out of the area and my pup ran out of food. so i called chicken soup, they advised me that the closest dealer was 30 miles away...ok drove there got the bag went home, opened it up, all moldy and smelly. had to drive back get another bag. of course i opened it up before i went home and it was fine. the company is great very willing to make you happy. i called the company let them know i got a bad bag of food. they sent me a 40 dollar check for another free bag. so later that night about five minutes away from my house i went to a pet shop ive never been to. well they had the food. ugh i was so mad called the company again, told them your selling food here and its not listed blah blah told them my story. but even if the date is fine you may want to open the bag at the store to see if the food is fresh.

I have an almost 11 month lab weim mix who is close to 100 lbs. When I got him he was on some high protein food from the feed store. I switched to purina puppy for large breed and he had loose stools. I then moved to wellness, pricey! and still loose stools...and ate a ton with ribs still showing. vet said it was fine but I felt like he was semi-starving. searched around on the net and saw this, saw it was wayyyy cheaper then wellness (and their bag is 5lb less) but got the same or better marks on the dog food rating website for being all natural. got it, dog loves it and his stools are much firmer. he still eats a ton (he is a large, active, growing puppy) but he has filled out no more ribs showing than the bottom two slightly which is better than all of them. I will definitely keep buying this. I can't find it locally so just get it from amazon but with free shipping, its almost easier having it delivered to my door.

My in-laws breed Golden Retrievers, and we brought one of their puppies with us to Alaska. He has grown up on this food, and it is a great quality. He is developing a beautiful coat and strong muscles. My in-laws that breed Golden's use this brand for all their dogs, puppy and adult!

I began my search for the perfect puppy food after finding out that Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet and other so-called "Premium" pet foods are basically the same junk as Kibbles 'n Bits, but with a premium price. My research led me to the Wellness brand, which is a great food but a bit on the pricey side. I stumbled across Chicken Soup and decided to compare the two, since the price was much more reasonable, but I honestly didn't expect it to come close to Wellness. "Chicken Soup" really blew me away! The ingredients are just as good, if not better, and my pups LOVE it. My only complaint is that the bag tears very easily, but if cheaper packaging keeps the price down I will live with it HAPPILY. I highly recommend this food, and I will be staying with this brand when my pups are old enough to transition to adult formula.

I am not in the habit of reviewing items I purchase on the internet.

This is actually the first time that I have due to how good this product is.

Started feeding this food to a 12 week old Labrador puppy.

He had no trouble transitioning to the new food, after only a week of mixing.

Seems to enjoy it more than puppy chow, which was what he was started on.

No flatulance, but he is still a young puppy.

My vet actually asked what I was feeding him due to his coat being so shiny.

I would recommend this food to anyone looking for a quality food for their dog

Loopies Mallard Duck Sound Chip Medium Toy

Ordered this for the 10 month old pup who doesn't really destroy toys more like she picks them apart or chews up a seam to eat the stuffing. LOL This one, she hasn't "killed" the quack nor the two squeakers in the toy & we have had it an entire week! Doing good so far!

Good quality toy desscription said it was medium, I would actually call it a large toy for our 50pd Sib pup. Great stitching & sturdy, I think it is worth the extra $$. Rated it a 4 star because the squeaker in the head is hard to find & doesn't work half the time but the quacking chip & the other squeaker in the base make up for it.

My 7..7oz dog loves this duck .... she has the large monkey that I purchased in a retail store that has really lost the sound, sad to say. She loves these toys and I am sorry to see the monkey has very little sound left. What I love about them is they are not made of a fleece that can be pulled off and swallowed .... I hope the company keeps on improving this toy as it seems to be a really great entertainer for my year old full of life pet loves. I am also going to try the cow.

My dog is 40 pounds and has a healthy strong jaw. However, she cannot get the duck to quack. I have to bang it on the floor before it quacks. If you have a very large dog you will not like this product. I would return it but she already ripped off it's head.

We had this ball before and unfortunately had lost it when Fred went to stay at someone's house for a weekend. So we tried to replace it with a similar ball, but it wasn't the same and he knew it. It's safe to say this ball is 'Fred' approved. :)

It is light enough to toss and not have it 'thump' when it lands but heavy enough to keep up the pace. It is flexible because of the slits all the way around. And it bounces just enough to get alittle height and speed.

The picture is deceiving since they have '6' mice and you only get '3'. I wish they would change that, but my kitten loves them. They are great for a small cat and seem durable. I purchased these balls for a hunting platform of my newly purchased Cat Power Tower. Although my kittens loved pushing them out of the openings and then chasing them around the bedroom, the balls lasted only a few days before they warped and needed to be thrown out. There is a piece of round plastic that is inside to make a noise but it did not hold the attention of the cats for long. More importantly, it could pose a choking hazard to your felines or to other pets or young children that may be present.
