We had this ball before and unfortunately had lost it when Fred went to stay at someone's house for a weekend. So we tried to replace it with a similar ball, but it wasn't the same and he knew it. It's safe to say this ball is 'Fred' approved. :)It is light enough to toss and not have it 'thump' when it lands but heavy enough to keep up the pace. It is flexible because of the slits all the way around. And it bounces just enough to get alittle height and speed.
