JW Pet Whirlwheel Flying Disk Dog Toy

As the name impies, it's a wheel. Don't try to throw it like a frisbee because it has no aerodynamics. Throw it in the vertical position like a wheel and when it hits the ground it will roll forever, even. I have a young border collie who runs an easy two or three hundred feet round trip everytime I throw it. He would fetch this thing all day. Someone needs to invent some kind of launcher for it so I don't have to be there all day. On days that I can't take him for a long walk, this toy does the trick to give him some exercise.

My dog (65lb Labradoodle) LOVES this toy. He seems to respond more to the squeaky sound and the shape than dog treats. The only down side is although it appears indestructible (kong like) this is not the case and within 2 days of giving him full access to it (which is hilarious b/c he basically throws it to himself and dances around) he popped it so now it won't squeak.

Still very useful for the park b/c he can play tug of war with it (it's very tough for that) or I throw it on it's side so it rolls and he chases it. I think it mimics some kind of pray the way it rolls b/c he runs much faster for this than a ball with the chuckit. Great toy! Will buy a new one soon for the squeak but think this ones still got some life left in it.

My Female Rottweiler has been playing with this toy since she was a puppy. This toy lasts for years and she has only been able to rip one apart. No matter how hard she has tried, she has rarely been able to tear one up, whether we throw it like a frisbee, play tug of war or just lying on the floor chewing on it. One draw back for some of you may be the squeaking noise that it makes. My dog loves to make the toy squeak, and it is loud, so if you are thin on patience when it comes to noisy toys, I would tell you to use it at the park or in the back yard. This is by far the best toy that we have ever purchased for our Rottweiler!

I was under the impression that this toy would hold up to chewing and aggressive play. The toy was in bite size chunks after 0ne play session. If your dog has teeth I would not recommend this toy.
