Hartz Great Balls of Fur Cat Toy

I'm feeling pretty stupid admitting this, but our cat loves this toy over all others, but not as delivered.

I don't remember how we came up with this idea. We cut a leg off this thing, stick a pipe-cleaner through it to give it structure, and then roll it up into a tight furry ball. He will chase this around the house, batting it around for hours. When he's done he pulls it back into a straight piece. I roll it back up, throw it, and he'll chase it down and bring it back. He's invented a number of games using our hacked toy.

Aside from the fact that it's his favorite toy, by a long shot, the best part is each one you buy has multiple legs. So I can make him a bunch of toys from a single Ball of Fur.

Remember. You didn't hear this from me. I completely deny ever having written a review for a cat toy. I must have been sleep writing, or my account was hacked. Anyhow, I'm off to play a few games of tackle football, hit the firing range to destroy a few targets, and then maybe start a bar brawl.

This product was recommended by Catnip a publication from Tufts Veterinary College as a cat favorite in their tests. My Maine Coon cats agree. This product is no longer in local stores so I was delighted to find it on this site. My cats play with this toy all of the time. It is easy for them to carry and throw; the perfect prey. For one of our cats, the Great Balls of Fur is the best toy. He goes everywhere with this toy, toting it around like a child does a baby doll and goes through about 1 per year. Loves to throw it up in the air and then catch it. The other cat doesn't touch the toy.

I bought this toy for my cat 7 years ago, this is his absolute all time favorite toy ever,, he cries if he can't find it.
