The colors and design are nice and its stable (yet I can also lift and move to other rooms myself), but it's a small scale tree due to the size of the middle step and top basket; so fine for cats under 10 pounds IF you can find it at a good price. Recently adopted a 6 month old 7 pound kitty so purchased at Costco for $79.99 on a special promotion (I would have taken it back if paid more). She uses it to run up and down with her toys and perch at the top to look out the window. It was easy to assemble as long as one paid close attention to the parts diagram as the written instructions were not detailed. Unfortunately she does not use the three nice rope posts for scratching; preferring her 32" ultimate scratching post(that her previous owner had so I bought one for $46). I am not sure how long the carpet areas will last but if it's less than 3 months I know they will take it back no questions asked.Save 25% Off
