SmartyKat Bamboo Bliss Barrel Condo with SNAP2IT! Toy

I purchased this from a local retailer for my new kitten. The feather attachment in fun but Im not too sure how long it will hold up. The actual bed part is great, any first grader can put it together with the picture instructions. I wish the inside fabric would be a little more scratch proof and the bamboo part would be a little thicker. (I am afraid that as my little guy grows he won't be able to sit on top of it without it bowing)

but for now it is exactly what I needed, and fine for the price, just don't expect it to be a long term investment.

I bought this on clearance at Target for $12.50. For that price it was ok and my cat does play with it but I don't think its worth any more that that.

Our two Bengal cats, each have their own beds just like this one, and are territorial about ownership of their `dens'. The hideaway design, and size is perfect for this breed of cat. We adopted a third Bengal and wanted to have another one for her. Searched everywhere, even contacted the SmartyKat marketing company, Worldwise, and was sadly informed this item is no longer being manufactured. I was so glad to have found it here on Amazon. These are Great ! After I purchased the original two for our cats, I bought two more for our son's and daughter's households their cats love them too ! It is a 5 star product, however the one I received through Amazon was defective as it was missing the Velcro loop tape that secures the Bamboo Barrel to the base. It was easy to remedy with the velcro loop and Fabric-Tac Fabric glue Since these have been discontinued by the manufacturer I didn't want to take the chance of not getting one =^..^=

I originally bought this at Target on clearance for my Siamese cat. It was easy and quick to assemble. It is sturdy and also looks nice. Unfortunately, my cat refuses to lay in it or even walk through it, which is why I only rated it 3 stars.
