The top post kept tilting over more and more no matter how tight I screwed it in until it finally broke off because of the inexpensive composite board it was screwed in to. Im now going with the more expensive all wood cat tree from another company.

MY wife assembled this while I was at work and said she found the instructions easy to to follow they must have been because normally she takes one look look at the instructions and waits for me to come home. The cat loves thing every level and every detail. I am surprised at how much play time and nap time this thing receives. Highly recommended for homes with active cats.

This was just temporary for me until I move, so it's OK for now. No carpeting on the bottoms of the platforms, so if you are sitting near it you see the wood-type areas. My cats are a bit larger so the cubbyholes are too small for them. My next purchase will be one I fan see assembled and not just a photo looking down upon the item.
