Vee PURRfect Feather Bouncer Cat Toy

Since I am reviewing another cat toy I figured I'd also put in a good word for this one.... Our cat Emma goes absolutely crazy for this feather toy. None of the other feather toys we've ever bought have gotten the same reaction. I don't know what the magic is, but believe me it's something! I buy them from the seller listed above along with our other drugstore items. There are over 35 reviews of this toy at that site and almost every one is 5 stars!

It's made of a stiff hollow plastic wand with a thinner, bendy, plastic extension on the top, to which the feathery part is attached. The bendy part is what makes it bouncy. The feathers themselves are 2 types -theres a bunch that are closed up and dense, while still soft, with a bunch of harder plumey ones extending out from them as a teaser. The longer ones gradually get torn off over time (after a few months of play at our house) but the toy still holds attraction after that. Our little Emma carries hers all around the house, and brings it to us when she wants to play... which is at least once a day! And this has been going on daily for the last 2.5 years, since we brought home her first feather-bouncer.

Cats are hard to buy toys for, since they're so finicky and each cat has their own preferences, but this toy is as close as you'll ever get to a sure thing in cat toys. HIGHLY recommended!

My cat absolutely loved loved loved this toy. Hes a 12 yr old male cat so he isnt as active as he use to be, but this toy got him going. However, after about 2 days the top-feather part broke off. I contacted the company and there wasnt anything they could do about it since i bought it through amazon. After contacting Amazon, they gave me an immediate refund which I used to buy another one :)

This toy is amazing, I don't know what drugs they put on it, but my cat's been obsessed since it arrived, still in the package. This is the 2nd one I've bought actually. After 6 months or so the first one finally got it's last long feather eaten up. I'm sure it's not great for the digestive system, but at least they're all white (not dyed colors like the short main fuzzy part). When I felt guilty enough I broke down & got a new one (one for upstairs, one for down? Oh that's right, it was her birthday! Eeh justification).

In the middle of the night, my cat Amino drags this toy all the way up the flight & a half of steps to the foot of my bed, waiting to play in the morning. She body slams the toy, lays across it, & looks at me like, "what are you waiting for!!". She smushes her face all over the thing, trying to become one w/ the feathers (& eating some too). She's always 'grooming' the shorter feathers.

You can stick the want in between couch cushions & for a while at least she'll play by herself, as it's bendy I bounces around. Also means you don't have to flail your arm around to get the thing to be entertaining for her, like a long string toy.
