This controller sterilzes adult fleas and should be used with the Little City Dogs Flea Killer and any Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth for the best and quickest results. We have tried the expensive vet prescribed stuff, local pet store stuff, and every home remedy I could find on the net. THESE PRODUCTS KILLED THE FLEAS WHEN NOTHING ELSE WOULD! We use it with Little City Dogs Flea Killer and Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth (in the yard and house) as well as planting rosemary, lavendar, mint, citronella, and using cedar chips for mulch. I actually caught some fleas, put them in containers with Sevin and other flea insecticide sprays with ingredients equal to Frontline and Advantage... they survived! It was a wonderful feeling after giving my babies the Flea Killer product to actually witness the fleas dying on my 3 cats and 5 dogs. Now, fleas will keep appearing as the current eggs, larvae, coccoons work their way through the life cycle BUT by using the flea killer and controller dilligently onnce you survive this life cycle (which could take a year because of dormant eggs hiding in your house) any fleas that do get on your pets will become sterile so slip your pet a flea killer capsule and bye bye fleas. Remember to continue to flea comb your pets so you will know when the adults are there and when it is necessary to give a killer capsule. This company has fabulous support as well. I contacted them with questions and they got back to me the same day and it was a Sunday. I contacted them again about needing help with visiting pets, once again, same day solution! After reading the negative reviews, I can't believe that some of you gave your animals 2, 3 or more pills in a month because you kept seeing fleas. Did you read the directions? Can you read? I'll try to explain, so pay attention: this product DOES NOT KILL ADULT FLEAS. Again, this product DOES NOT KILL ADULT FLEAS! It circulates in your animal's blood stream so that when the flea bites your pet, the eggs that the flea lay will not hatch. It takes several months to break the flea cycle, because every flea that has been on your pet has laid flea eggs everywhere. Those eggs hatch, and those are the fleas you see on your pet. Those fleas will lay sterile eggs also. Eventually (a few months), there will be no more flea eggs and no more fleas. If you want immediate knockdown of adult fleas, you need to use Capstar (or the generic equivalent). You can use that treatment every 24 hours, but you can only use this product once monthly. Honestly, I can't believe some of you haven't done harm to your pets-and then you would blame the product! This works, along with the Capstar, if you use it correctly. I have 5 cats and do not have any problems while using this product. It works if you use it correctly, and depending on where you live, year round. I live in the south and I have one cat that goes in and out, so I use it year round.

With nine indoor kitties and two outdoor, I can't afford the regular Program, so when the fleas this year got out of control I tried Little City Dogs. What I like best is the fact that the capsules can be opened and the product sprinkled on their food no dealing with trying to pill 11 cats!

Since there are 12 capsules in the package, that left one more than I needed...or so I thought. An adorable stray cat started to come by to eat the food my outdoor furkids left, so of course I began to feed him as well. At first he'd watch for food from a distance, but as he started to venture a bit closer, I noticed that both his ears and his sweet little nose were totally and completely BLACK with fleas...there wasn't an area that wasn't flea infested. One day when the kitty now named Figaro came on my porch and patiently waited for his food, I opened the last capsule and mixed the product in with some wet food, which I fed him and which he devoured. The next time I saw the little guy two days later his little ears were bloody from flea bites but every last flea was GONE! Obviously, I've become quite attached to him and now consider him my cat, and I can't tell you how happy it made me to know he's not suffering from all those fleas anymore; he'll be fine once those bites heal. (I did give him a de-wormer as well.)

I'll definitely be purchasing this again next month. For those of you who do rescue or feed strays, please consider getting Little City Dogs for the cats you're not able to handle.

I have been in an anti-flea battle for 6 years, since adopting 2 cats from a shelter, who

brought along a bunch of "friends". I have tried all the usual methods and some more

unusual, including having my apartment treated professionally ( twice), a variety of monthly
