Trixie Topi Cat Condo

This item is not bad, and arrives assembled. Alas my kitty did not care for it much, she prefers to scratch and destroy my furniture and cables. And believe me, this is not the only pricy scratchy toy I bought for her! She has towers, condos, and other houses too. One problem with this item is that my 6-month old Goldie cannot fit in to sleep, the sleeping nook is rather small. She tried it a few times, it was too much of a trouble to squeeze in, so she gave up. But if my slim 6-months old kitty cannot fit in comfortably, it's best you don't buy it for an adult cat! Otherwise, yes, a good toy for a baby.

I purchased this for my two indoor kitties when they were about 8 months old. They really were totally disinterested. They did not even care for the sisal scratch pad section. Even though at the time they would fit in it if you made them go inside, they quickly outgrew it. My 19 year old cat who weighed about 6 pounds did sleep in it for a couple of days but quickly became disinterested and never went back inside.

Fast forward to present, they are now 18 months old and this has been around the house for over a year and it still looks brand new. I am giving it to my daughters friend who just got a kitten. Maybe it will be interested.

I will say that it is very well made. The carpet is plush and the sisal section very well integrated into the design. It is a heavy item and isn't something that will be moved around easily. The price online is superb considering I paid $30 for mine at a discount store. I think if the hole were about 1 inch bigger and it were roomier inside my cats would have liked it more.

This item looks amazing. I have no complaints regarding the product. My cat loves to hide so thought she would appreciate a scratching post, a hiding place, and a toy to play with. However, cat won't use it.

Its nice and durable but my two cats could care less totally u interested which makes it just another sitting item.
