Neko Flies - Kittycada Attachment - Attachment Only

Neko Flies - Kittycada Attachment - Attachment OnlyOur two kittens, Gracie and Wyatt, have boxes and boxes of toys. We're not sure what it is about this toy, but they go wild when it comes out. They ask for it three or four times a day, whether we're busy working or not.

We use the fly with the top half of an old trout pole, which gives it extra reach and movement. Both kittens get quite the workout zooming through the house and running up the walls after it.

Gracie, the little girl, loves to growl and stalk around the house with the fly once she's caught it, like a little apex predator. While the fly is very well-made, we're buying another for Christmas as the current one is a bit ragged.

The downsides? One, they won't play much with other wand toys, and look disappointed when you try to offer them substitutes. And two, it's difficult to get out clean towels and sheets, because we keep the fly in the linen closet. Once the kittens hear the closet door, they're up and demanding the fly. Funny!

All the Neko cat toys are well made and hold up well. With an Abyssinian kitten in the house, cheaper toys get destroyed in minutes. This one has help up very well and is his current favorite.

I've been through a basket full of these type of toys for my two Siberian cats. In my opinion, these are superior to Neko's closest competitor and we all know who I mean. They are life like, fun to chew and bat and durable. A+++

This without question is the most finely crafted cat toy we own; considering what lurks in the VERY deep depths of Tristan's toy box, that is saying quite a LOT! The Kittycada just arrived today so I can't speak to longevity, but right out of the box, my young cat was immediately intrigued in a way his other wand toys have not inspired. This toy floats, flies, crawls over carpet, and moves almost exactly like a real insect with just a little help from the wand. If I wasn't holding the wand myself I would swear this insect was real! It is beautifully made and uses high quality feathers and findings which surely figure in the pricing; I had my eye on this one for a while but I did wait until the cost including shipping was offered at a little less than twelve dollars and attached this to a wand I already own. After seeing the Kittycada in motion I think the cost is pretty well justified.

It measures just about four inches from the head to the very end of the long feathers (added a close up photo). The main body is just under two inches.

We'll see how long the Kittycada lasts, but kitty and I are very pleased with this purchase.

I have three of the Neko Flies attachmentsthe Katarantula, the Kittycada, and the (original) Kittenator. I have 3 catsMuffin, Puffin, and Rerun, and out of the 3, Puffin is the only naturally playful one who will play with anything you dangle in front of her face. Muffin is a 27 lb. lazy cat who we've been working on to exercise and lose weight, and Rerun is a cat who just doesn't like toys. That all changed when I bought the first Neko Flies toy with the Katarantula attachment.

The minute I brought this home, all 3 cats were running around crazy and wanting to play! Even, Muffin, the fat one, has broken toys like this buy using her weight to snap it, but was not able to do that with this toy! Believe me, she tried, and it did not snap. I have never seen Muffin and Rerun go crazy over a toy like this. They were even meowing for more when I put the toy away! After seeing how excited they were with the Katarantula attachment, I bought the Kittycada attachment and also the Kittenator. They love all the attachments and having 3 different ones keeps them from getting bored. I plan to get the Katapede attachment too.

I don't know what it is about these toys, but I think it's the way these toys just naturally move and look when you're dragging them on the ground or swinging them in the air. I have no doubt that these toys will help keep my cats active, stimulated, and will even help my fat cat lose weight by exercising. Thanks to Neko Flies for inventing such an awesome product!
