My cat loves this toy. The one I got is red and yellow and she loves the colors. I hang the pole on different windows so that she can jump and attack the fish. I put water on the bottom of the suction cup so it will stick better, when I don't, it falls off and scares the cat. I can also take the pole off so she can play with me and she loves that. One thing to be cautious of is if you hang the pole up, you need to supervise your cat. With the cat jumping and fish flopping everywhere, the sting can get twisted around their front leg and they can get stuck to the fish. It happened to my cat a few times. I always take mine down if I am leaving or can not supervise her.

This is one of my kitten's favorite things. Sometimes he drags it around the house, pole and all. I give it 4 stars for 2 reasons though. The first is that the suction cup is just not functional at all. It doesn't stick to anything, which is sad because sticking this somewhere on a wall for the cat to just play with would be awesome. Second is that the pole itself is incredibly flimsy at the connector points. It screws together but comes unscrewed from light play. I fixed that by super gluing the joints together. Problem solved! I wish the bungie string was a little bit longer so I could "cast out" farther but I could always replace the string with another one. All in all it's great fun for you and your cat.

I bought one of these in orange the first day I got my kitten and it was an instant hit. Within days of getting it, he'd torn the fish off the pole but would still chase the fish everywhere. He even plays fetch with it! He had it for over a year... The eyes fell off, the fins were torn off and it no longer looked like a fish, but he LOVES that thing. It eventually disappeared and I had to buy him a new one. He will never love another toy like he loves his fish! Hartz did something right. I highly recommend this toy! I worry he'll get hurt if left alone with the pole, but the fish itself is awesome!

We introduced this toy to our 8 week old kitten, and now, at 14 weeks, it continues to be a hit! We have three: one tied to his scratching post, one on the kitchen window, and one that is detached from the pole. He carries it around the house in his mouth to play with. Great entertainment for a wonderful price!

I have 3 cats but only one of my little guys plays with this particular fish. We have bought several over the years and when Whiskers completely rips it a part we get him a new one....I think he is on #10 now....and I affectionately named each one Finn. I have to cut the fish off the string and give it to my cat because has always eventually chewed it off himself. He loves to carry this fish around with him all over the house! I highly recommend this toy!!
