I have 4 cats and wanted to buy a toy that would entertain them while I'm not home. They love this set. The "Treat Machine" is by far thier fav! Couldn't get the wheat grass to grow....and I'm an avid gardener, so I was a little dissapointed in that. But aside from that, I would recomend it!It was easy to put together and as long as you lock the top into place on the track, it will not pop off like some other reviewers stated. Also, my male tabby is double pawed and has no problem batting that ball around! Others complained the opening for the ball was too small for their cats maybe if you have a Maine Coon....but not for the average cat.
My cats are entertained and happy therefore I am happy and entertained while watching them play!

Design senses play circuit-we love it, can change route with a few clicks, well made.
We were wanting to try the light up ball,
wanted more pieces for the circuit to make longer different paths,
wanted to try the speed circuit as the original was awesome
Wanted to try the massage center
So we decided to get this full kit as we were happy with our previous catit stuff.
Speed circuit sucks, cat doesn't play, ball gets stuck on one of the hills, the hills are too steep. Light up ball cat loves, you can buy this separately for the original circuit. ((Which i recommend)
Original circuit as stated before, we love, cat loves. The ball it comes with is fun but our cat really loves the lit ball. I would recommend 2 or 3 sets depending on if you also like to play with cat and how much room you have to build.
Senses massage center is wonderful, cat uses the gum stimulator, loves to rub on the groomer.
Scratch pad our cat ignores it completely, I even tried putting catnip and treats in it, cat gets them out then ignores the scratcher, We do have standing scratchers he loves so maybe he just prefers those, either way he ignores the scratcher so wouldn't recommend.
Grass garden kit we love, keeps cat from pulling out root and all, or digging. Recommend 2 as i grow one on porch for a month then trade. It takes about a month for the cat to eat down one so works out perfectly, if more cats might want more.
Treat maze we weren't too interested as had bad reviews but in the set it was basically a free item so we tried it out. I understand why it got those bad reviews, by itself yes bad design. I modified it and now we love it.
First of all the hole at top is huge after i put food in it, my cat just went up on back feet and started to stick his head in to eat, which started to topple it(if toppled all food would scatter and would be pointless). So i took some fun duck tape and made the hole much smaller.
Second after awhile our cat was getting annoyed and learned if he just stuck his paw in and pulled the whole thing would fall over, once again this is just a mess. So i took the speed circuit and made it into a circle, put it around treat maze but we still needed more weight. I put salt in snack ziplocks then put them around inside the speed circuit as we decided the speed circuit was useless for play it worked out great here.
It has been about a month of use with these modifications with no more spills. Now i think it is a must have as the cat works for each piece of food so he doesn't eat too fast( no more throwup) and it is an activity to keep him in shape. Also he doesn't seem to over eat any more, we were measuring out his food because he was a little over weight but with this he seems to not want to over eat. Maybe because in a dish it was just easy for him, and now he has to work, so he is only going to go through with it when he is really hungry. Who knows, i just know it works and i have stopped measuring out food i just add more food when it gets low.

I think I ended up liking this more than my cats do. The grass section never grew. My cats never use the scratching section. They like the treat section, but get the treats out too quickly. It seems a bit top heavy, so they are able to knock it over when they're trying to get a treat. The track and lighted ball sparks their interest with my encouragement.Most of the time I don't see them play with it at all. Nice design but obviously not cat tested.
