Our kitten loves, loves, loves this toy. Maybe because she can run, jump and stalk all in one session, or maybe because it is interactive and she gets to play with her people. Either way, this toy is a huge hit and has been since day one when we adopted our cat. This is her favorite of the interactive toys. The fur after a few months is a little worse for wear but the feather is still on tight and it still gives our girl hours of fun play. This toy makes a mess. Within two minutes of playing with it, there was fur remnants all over the carpet, which our kitten promptly tried to eat. He also was chewing on the toy itself, which made me nervous about him eating the fur since it came off so easily. I'm returning this toyI don't want my cat eating fur pieces, even if they are non toxic. It's too bad, because he absolutely loved it.

My cat Penny LOVES this toy. She liked to chase the feathers, until they came off (about two weeks of rough play). She also likes chasing the furry ribbon. Her favorite thing to do, though, is to bat the plastic wand around and chew on it. She carries it around the house with her like a security blanket, taking it with her to her food bowl, onto the bed, or into her cat cave.

Other than losing its feathers quickly, it has held up well; we've had it for over a year and a half.

Not exactly what the product was 6 months ago (one long feather solid fabric). It is flat at the end, best described as a faux fur//flat fake feather fabric. But my cat loves it as much as the previous one. Just wish they had not changed the product.
