This tree is stable, and easy to assemble. The Faux fur covering is quite soft and my cats enjoy it.The small tunnel on the level 2nd from the top is much too small for a full sized cat to get into, so I just use it as a cat toy storage box, the cats can reach in and pull a toy out, and it seems to work well for that. The larger house on the third level provides plenty of room. Only the floor of the little house is covered in fur, the walls are bare, my cat's are hairless so I shoved a small blanket inside for them to burrow in and stay warm, but I doubt other cats would mind that much.
The flow of the tree is good, and the cats have no trouble climbing up it, although on the way down the 3rd level with the little house sticks a bit far over the 2nd level that my cats cannot comfortably step down onto that level, and I saw both of them fall off a couple times trying before they started just jumping straight to the floor from the 3rd level. this is not a problem for my cats, but if you have older less agile kitties, or any with medical conditions you might want to take that into consideration, or simply set a stool or something next to it to provide a slightly smoother transition downward.
My cats seem uninterested in the wave cat scratcher ramp thing, which surprises me. If *I* were a cat I would totally want to scratch that thing :P
I have only had this tree for about 3 weeks now, so I can't say much about the longevity of it, but it's holding up well so far and seems like it will last.
My cat is very active. She runs up and down the tree all the time and leaps onto it from the sofa, about 3 feet away. With all of that, I've never seen any cause for worry about its stability or durability. She reaches down from the bed on top and swats violently at the hanging ball and it's holding up very well, the cord it's hanging from is still in great condition (and managed to tear apart every other hanging toy she's gotten).
My cat loves feathers, so I pinned a feather boa underneath the cat bed, hanging down to the top shelf. That addition has been a huge hit with my cat.
The only caveat to my recommending this is that the bed on top is a little small. My cat is pretty skinny and she sleeps comfortably on it, but I'm not sure how secure it would be for a bigger cat. Also it was very important to me to find a cat tree that had walls around the bed, because my cat has rolled off the sofa on a few occasions. But the edges of the bed are just cushion with no secure structure and my cat has managed to roll off the bed a couple of times. I wanted to mention that, because if your cat's as clumsy as mine, it might be a concern.

We've just received our cat tree and we were so excited to set it up but we were surprised and disappointed when we opened the box and discovered that "beige" actually seems to be more of a yellow. This color is not what we wanted and it will completely clash with the rest of our furniture. We were hoping for something that would blend into the background. This will be an eyesore. This is a great condo for any cat, we only had two problems; 1) when received and had it assembled we had more fleas in our home than anyone would want to talk about, and seeing how this was the only new item at the time the condo had to be where they came from, as our kitty never goes outdoors, and it had taken three months to get rid of the fleas, 2) after a few months use this condo does get a bit wobbly, we have tried to tighten the supports but to no avail.Save 71% Off
