It's a nice toy, but if your dog is a chewer it won't last. I gave this to my 4 1/2 month old German Shepherd puppy and in 15 minutes she has destroyed it to the point where I had to take it away.
My Great Dane and I have a ritual of her asking for her after dinner treat by dropping the treat holder in my lap. I fill it with peanut butter and cookies or green beans (and don't worry about weight gain, we have a hard time keeping any weight on her). Her first Arc Dog Treat Holder lasted about 2 years. It finally started falling apart due to chew marks and she is a heavy chewer.
It took me a while to figure out what the treat holder was called and was thrilled to find it on Amazon. Ordered three.
