I just got this for my two cats. They love it! They have two treat balls which they have totally figured out, so I decided to get them this. One is super food motivated and one is play motivated so they both have fun. So far we have only done the stick side. It took them a little while to figure out (one cat kept biting the sticks) but soon they figured it out. They even like the ball part which I thought they might have out-grown! Great game if you have a very food motivated cat!

Showing this to my cat out of the box, she went bonkers over it. ("A winner!", I thought.) However, when I went to clean it before giving it to her to eat treats out of, the dyes on the red ball and colored push-out-of-the-way sticks (on the flip side of the game not shown in the main photo), came off very easily when I wiped them. I'll be returning I'm just not comfortable exposing my cat to dyes. (So much for easy-to-clean!)

I purchased this item because I wanted to stimulate my cats and use this as a feeder. I like that the toy is two sided, but the largest side holds less than a 1/4 cup of food. I had intended to use this more as regular feeder than a toy. My two cats have figured out how to get food out of both sides and flipping the toy over adds some variety. If only the food holes were bigger.

I was so excited to get this for my four month old kittens. I think it is a great concept. They immediately understood what they needed to do. It is heavy weight and the two kittens could not turn it over on accident. They played with the ball area first. When I reached down to turn the unit over, the entire product came apart in my hand. It had big globs of glue that had come unglued. I was not pleased that when the two pieces came apart there was a powdery substance beneath the two pieces. I then took it to my counter and scraped the glue off with a razor blade. I decided to hand wash it before putting it back together to get the debris and powder stuff off. The box says it is "washable and stain resistant". Well, what an absolute mess! All the color from the colored dowels and the red ball ran everwhere! Now they are all faded. Keep in mind I only used clear water! No detergent! I had to let it dry overnight. I then reglued it back together. It has been a couple of days and it has held tight. My cats pay this no attention unless there are treats in the slots. Even my four month old kittens paws are almost too big to get the smallest treats out. They just try to scoop it out with their tongue. I would return it if I hadn't already had to reglue and wash the product. I can't believe it suggested to put in canned cat food. What an utter mess that would be. I would not purchase this with using this for feeding in mind. Also, while it is a good size piece the way it is designed only one kitten at a time can get to the slots.

It was easy for the feline to learn the idea of the games. However the sliding pieces were so tight that it was frustrating for her to move the parts and she gave up. Hoping that as we play together more the parts will loosen up making it easier for her to win the treats. There does not seem to be a preference of which side she likes to play with the most but thr side with the sliding dics seems to win her approval more often than not.
