These cats toys are not so good. At least not for my girls. The only reason I am giving 2 stars, (instead of one), is because Hailey (my Maine Coone), pushed one around for the first 10 minutes.
But these Atomic Balls could not even keep the attention of my very spirited Bengal.
Both of my girls are almost 7 now, so maybe this is a toy for kittens?

The ball pictures is the multi-colored ball. I have had that one in the past, and it is softer and has more bounce than the one I received. The package I received contained 2 bouncing balls that are a solid color and have a little less bounce. Not all my cats play with this ball. But the ones that do absolutely love it. One of them will pick it up, bring it to me, and drop it in front of me. Then he plays fetch every time I throw it.

Best ball-type cat toy we've ever found--in the grocery store, actually, and have never seen them in any pet-supply store. They're made of superball-type material and are shaped to roll and bounce very irregularly, simulating the prey animal motions that cat brains are wired to go after, especially when rolled like a bowling ball, as fast as you can. Our guy (7 months) brings them to us in his mouth so he can chase and fetch, 3-5 times every day for 20-30 minutes at a stretch, and we've been able to teach him the word "play" by saying it every time we throw it for him! Also, because they roll and bounce so easily with just the nudge of a paw, he also plays with them alone, batting them all around the house, and has figured out how to bounce it by picking it up with both paws as he rears up to pounce, so that as he comes down and releases it, it's hitting the floor with extra force and bounces. If we bowl both at the same time, he shepherds them back with one in his mouth while soccer-dribbling the other. Perfect interactive toy for us, lots of exercise for him, and impervious to his gnawing habit, which in the past has led to the ingestion of bits of lesser toys. Highly recommend ... certainly a big payoff for very little investment!
