Hartz Stunt Pilots Cat Toy

I received this as a gift for my cats. I loved the idea of the sling shot toy and thought the cats would love it as well. However, the sling slipped out of the toy on the first try. This was a great idea, but quality control needs a lot of work. At least, I can still throw the toy. But the cats lost interest right away.

My cat likes this toy but the launcher snapped. Now it is just a stuffed animal like toy. She likes to kick it around. As long as my cat likes it it's good.

the sling ripped, my cats dont even care for it at all. it was def a waste of money for me. maybe other cats are different but mine didnt like it at all.

My cat has adored this toy from the first time she laid teeth on it. She likes crinkly things, and things with bells, so this fits the bill. It's the perfect size for her and is very sturdy. She carries it around with her all day, from room to room. It's light and unfussy enough that she can stand up on her hind legs and bat it around with her front paws. Also, she loves to fetch, and she brings this to our feet so that we can throw it (no one has explained to her that she is not a dog).

I don't use the band for this. If you want a toy to shoot around, I suggest the Hartz Chirp n' Chase. The elastic works well on that, and it's a good toy if you can stand the very loud chirping it makes.

When I recieved this item, I noticed that the rubber sling shot part was dry rotted. I removed this part of the toy before giving it to my cat so he wouldn't eat it. The toy is cute and works as a toy but the sling shot is a no go.
