I bought this toy because my cat loves feathers and it seemed like he could play with this unattended. However, as others have stated, the suction cup doesn't stick well to surfaces. He liked it anyway and dragged it around my apartment, but I didn't want my dog to get a hold of the toy. So, I decided to Gorilla Glue the suction cup to the underside of a platform on my cat tree. Awesome results; cat LOVES it.

I figured I'd give this one a try as it only had one review. Well, I should have listened to that reviewer. The toy is nice once removed from the spring, but the suction cup doesn't work for more than 30 seconds at a time. I've tried multiple ways to get the cup to stick: Wet it with water, perfectly dry, clean it and the surface with an alcohol wipe. Nothing works. The cats love the toy once it's off the spring, but there are less expensive toys for that.

i saw this in PetSmart and thought it would be neat to stick these to the glass walls of our sun porch for our cats to play with. i bought 2 of them less than an hour ago and was so disappointed in them!! the product says that it "has a super-strong suction cup that adheres to most solid surfaces." no...no, it doesn't. i cleaned the glass thoroughly before trying to stick the toy to it, but it wouldn't stay. i tried moistening the suction cup a bit to see if that would make a difference...it didn't. and it isn't as if the suction cup held on at first but gradually came loose. it didn't stick *at all*! there were no signs of "suction" whatsoever. since the card that the toy comes twist-tied to shows the toy stuck onto the floor, i thought i'd try it that way to see if it would work any better standing on a horizontal surface than it did on a vertical one. it didn't. the toy part itself is great...the ball is sisal-wrapped with feathers, and it rattles. my cats are having a blast batting and dragging it all over the sun porch as i speak, so i guess it's not a total failure. it just doesn't work as advertised...at all.

Contrary to the other reviews this toy does stick to some surfaces. Granted it does fall off of many things you might think it would stick to but I stuck it to the front of my dishwasher over a month ago & it's still on there. For the price & my cats enjoyment of it I have no major issues with it. I would've given it 5 stars if it stuck to more surfaces.
