They say that a bored dog is a bad dog. Well, there are no more bored dogs in my house.
It's easy to clean, too. I just run hot, soapy water through the holes, and it's good as new.
I'm going to give one of these to every person I know who gets a new dog. (Unless they buy a puppy from a petstore. Then I'm going to stop being their friend, period)This toy is sturdy and durable, it is not so hard to get the treats out, I bought it because of the size, I thought that it would keep my GSD busy longer. I already have the busy buddy twist and treat, which actually keeps her busy longer because you can adjust the toy for the size of treats you are using. I placed some kibble in the Ottosson Maze and they came out very easily, so it wasnt a lot of work for her. I gave 5 stars because of the construction and size of the toy, but the difficutly level is more of a one star. I probably wont get another.

I actually bought the cat version of this toy since it's the same size as the small dog version but a little cheaper and I liked the colors better. I'm really pleased with this toy and my dog loves it! It can be noisy, particularly when filled with hard kibble and/or used on a hard surface. The noise did scare my dog at first but after working with her and a bit of encouragement she eventually got it and now it's her favorite toy!If you know your dog is a chewer and you want toys to keep them occupied while you're gone you should probably look at a different product, like stuffable KONGs. It is made of plastic that could easily be destroyed by chewing. That being said, this toy is not meant for use without supervision. It does come with instructions for teaching your dog how to properly play with the toy, which will tell you it's meant for manipulation with paws or a nose.
Think about what your dog needs in a toy and if this toy would fit their needs. Are you willing to spend time to teach your pet how to use the toy and supervise them while they play with it? If its a good fit you will have a new favorite toy :)

This is the worst and most expensive dog toy I have ever bought and will probably be the last. When I pick out toys I try to buy something that is sturdy. The Kong brand is the way to go for sure. This product is beyond flimsy. If you have a dog that weighs less than 10 pounds this might be a good toy for you. I was so excited to get this product and it was in pieces within 20 minutes. The blue edging also comes off so easily.
I do not recommend this toy for dogs that like to chew anything or it will come apart.I did not purchase this product from Amazon, but from a pet store. I spoke to a salesperson about the breed of dogs I have and that they need indestructable toys and toys to keep them busy (without being attented to constantly). She recommended this toy. My larger Doberman (90 lbs) had it figured out in seconds and the treats were flying out left and right, it was empty almost instantly. My smaller Doberman (50 lbs and a 10 month old puppy) wanted to chew it where the treats came out and even in my presence had it chewed almost immediately. The toy went back. I was at that time instructed that it was a training toy and they should always be supervised while using it. The box shows a hammer and it says it is "tough and hard wearong"...not if your dogs like to chew, and not for $19.95 only to be ruined in a few minutes.
