Zanies Mylar Cat Ball Toy Canister, 35-Pack

These are my kittens favourite toys! They can play with these, as I like to call them, flooferballs, for hours! I've tried all other toys, but if it doesn't have he loudest, most annoying crinkle noise, it's not good enough for them. However, if they're not kicked under some random piece of furniture, they end up in their water bowl....and that's where this product concerns me...as soon as it hits water, all the dye seeps into the water and all over anything you try to dry it off with. So what does that mean for the kitties? What happens when they bite into it? I don't know...I'm hoping that all these reviews concerning the weak dye job would encourage manufacturers to come up with a better dye for these toys, so for the meantime, I'm very hesitant to give in to their demands for flooferballs....

But as for this particular product, it's an amazing deal! I usually buy these for 99 cents a piece, but my kitties can not only enjoy the flooferballs, they can also play in and around the container :D Silly boys!

I adopted a year old cat from our animal shelter and they sent her home with these mylar balls but she kept losing them! I bought the bin and I am in heaven! They were like socks before (where do they go?) and now I just throw another. They are hours and minutes of entertainment and all one has to do is crunch it in your hand and they come running. We've even started a game of bat and ball where she catches or swats in the air. I just hope I can find the 15 missing again!

My cats love the balls but our one cat chewed on them and even tho they stayed together the dye on the balls became liquid from the gnawing and dyed our cat's feet pink! If he had been on the carpet our beige carpet would have been dyed pink also. The color should not be able to come off the mylar.

Our cat can play for hours with these things. The biggest problem is they would get lost underneath or behind things. The cat would literally sit and stare to figure out how to get it and if unsuccessful would come and meow at us (otherwise get our attention) to move the furniture, refrigerator, etc. Getting the 35 pack helped to eliminate the constant moving and lifting to get his toys once they were lodges somewhere.
