Buy KONG Tugger Knots Lion Dog Toy, Medium/Large Now
Unfortunately, within (and I'm not kidding)1 minute, my dog had already torn part of the stuffed animal part of this toy. The rope part is great, but the lion is not sturdily sewn. Now, I do have a big dog, but still, 1 minute? The company who sold him to me is great, but the product didn't live up to even minimal standards. And I had such high hopes!Read Best Reviews of KONG Tugger Knots Lion Dog Toy, Medium/Large Here
I guess I should have known that the ridgeback puppy and a black lab would have this thing destroyed in a day. There isn't a lot of stuffing in the animal itself, but what little there is becomes a wonderful "treat" for a puppy (unfortunately). I plan on taking the lion off and leaving the rope on for the two dogs to play with. The soul purpose of purchasing this product was based on the ridgeback's heritage in lion cornering in Africa. Cute but maybe for small dogs.My dog loves his collection of Kong toys. The KONG Tugger Knots Lion Dog, in Medium/Large quickly became his favorite toy. He just as quickly (within about 24 hours of receiving it) shredded the whole thing. He pulled out the lion's mane in big tufts and then he ripped open the body, exposed the rope on the inside, and spread the white stuffing all over the apartment. I am going to sew it back up since he loves the toy so much he keeps pointing and making noises for me to take it off the shelf so he can continue his destruction. --This toy is both a great success and a failure. Any "toy hound" will love it. It does NOT hold up to the Kong challenge. The Product Features section states that it is: "Durable, tough, interactive, for 80 pound dogs!" My 15-pound lap dog made mincemeat of this toy.
