I have a standard poodle. He is not, by nature, destructive. He loved this toy, but to him the challenge was getting the bottle out of the toy, not necessarily chewing on the crunchy bottle. So in the end, he ended up ripping the velcro off, and eviscerating the insides of this toy within about two days. The toy did not endure his Houdini-like drive and I ended up having to throw it away. So....great concept, but I'll be searching for another one that holds a plastic bottle that is tougher.
