EDIT: Might cause slab fractures in the teeth. Took my pup to the vet and saw he had a slab fracture. This is the only thing he chews on. I discontinued use and may go with the softer one. Just becareful and routinely check your dog's teeth. My Chihuahua/Min Pin is a strong chewer. None of his toys really last. After doing a little research, I bought this Nylabone so he can have a toy that lasts and help clean his teeth since I've read bad things about rawhide and real bones. My dog loves the Dura Chew Nylabone. He got into it right away. He can chew on it all day. It holds up pretty well too.
I have two issues that isn't really the product's fault. The first is that the bristle shavings that fall off the bone gets everywhere. You'll have to up your vacuuming. What's worst is when it get stuck in your socks. Once it gets stuck in your socks, its a bit hard to take out. It might cause some discomfort when walking.
The second issue is when the bristles get caught on something. Hair can get easily attached to it. The bristles acts like velcro and can attach itself to many things.
Overall, the product works well. It holds up pretty well and my dogs loves it.

Our 8 month old lab puppy was able to chew this entire thing in less than a few hours. This is not a durable toy for good chewers and it does not last long. If you have a powerful chewer this is not the toy for your dogWant Durable Bacon Bone Dog Chew Toy Discount?
I love the nylabone durachews. For some reason, I've never found the bacon flavored in the store. I gave it to my dog yesterday when I got home from work and he wouldn't put it down! He chewed on it for 2-3 hours... this will definitely be a repeat buy from me! The only thing is I find the bone a little too small (which is my fault, the product dimensions were clearly stated on the website). I have a 21 pound dog and it looks a little too tiny for him, so I think I'll get the next size up next time I purchase this.I've also tried the other variety nylabones, which don't fair well with my dog (edible chews, etc). The softer ones get gobbled up by my dog to quickly, which is why I stick with the durachews. For those powerful chewers, it's the best!
