At Christmas time there were young children here and I think part of the "egg" as I call it got thrown out with wrapping paper. I looked in all the recomended stores for weeks and nobody had it in stock so I bought it onlinethis product is much sturdier and easier to fill than the plastic balls that are out there and my cat Yaz loves knocking it around for a treat. In fact I bought two just to have spare around!!

My cat has an extraordinarily short attention span ,but when this comes out it gets all of her attention... At least until it is empty. I wish that took longer but she is so smart she figures out where the hole is and just sits and shakes it while the kibbles spill out. Still it makes her DO something for it!

I enjoy using it so she can decide when she wants a snack, but I usually gave my cat treats that I got from the vet. They are soft, star shaped treats. They don't work very well in this so I have to give her something else that's not as good.

Can't fill it full... because then nothing comes out.

Then, when you fill it part way full, several pieces come out with one good swat.

Not much exercise.

The round balls with adjustable holes are much better to make the kitties work. :-)

Suppose it might work for less energetic cats.
