Play-N-Squeak Teaser Wand Tiger Cat Toy

I've got two 12-week old maine coon babies and they absolutely love this toy. It's without-a-doubt their favorite and they've played with it for hours. If I even jiggle the mouse to squeak they will come running from wherever they are to play with it. They tend to drag it all over the house which is fun to watch. It's taken quite a lot of abuse and the mouse is still squeaking and looking great, the feathers however have been plucked. That's not really surprising since every feather toy I've ever bought loses its feathers within a short time. Anyway, after all the hours of fun they've enjoyed with this toy I'd say I've gotten my money's worth. I'm buying a couple more today.

We got this as a gift. Our female kitten loved it immediate and actually swooped in, grabbed the mouse and ran away with the whole contraption. Our male kitten didn't stand a chance. This is the only squeak toy we have. It's well made and the cord is bungee-like. My only complaint is that the plastic fasteners that held the toy to the cardboard packaging were not easily removable and remnants of the tags are sticking out of the toy itself. Not a huge danger but something that would definitely keep me from buying another toy of this brand.

This is a great toy. It's well constructed, with no hard metal fasteners that might hurt the cats during intense play. They like to chase the squeaking mouse and when they catch that, I can tickle them with the feathered part, which causes them to release the mouse for the next chase. They enjoy playing with this for longer periods than other object on a string toys.

I wasn't aware this was a wand with a rope at the end of it. True, there is a feather poof at the end of the wand, but there is also a rope with a squeaky mouse and more feathers that dangles off the rope (kind of like a fishing pole). Amazon's picture is slightly misleading as the rope is coiled around the wand tightly so you can't see that is dangles. My cats seem to enjoy this okay, however they are a little confused; they don't know whether to look at the feather poof on the end of the wand or the dangling, squeaky mouse. Also, the package says it is catnip-infused but my cats didn't seem to notice.

We'll stick with regular feather wands from now on.
