This toy is beautifully constructed and easy to assemble. My two cats really like it and it is great because kids like playing with it too. It is like a little doll house.

Our two cats simply love the Mouse Takes Cat Toy! They enjoy trying to figure out which mouse is coming out next, and love pouncing on and batting at the mice. One intrepid kitty sometimes is curious about where the mice are coming from, and like to peer around to the back of the house. This toy is very easy to play with; we can set in on the floor and tap it with our feet while reading a book, or we can really interactively get on ground with the cats and use our hands to operate the toy. It is simple to quickly assemble the toy, and it is sturdy. Our cats get excited when we take it down to play with them, before the mice even start moving! I was very impressed and happy that the owner sent me a new updated model made of foam like material instead of wood. I am updating my review now based on the new material. My cat loves ithe can chew on it and seems much more interested in this model than the wooden model so I am giving it five stars for my cat actually playing it with me now and for the outstanding customer service. :)

My kitten LOVED this toy. She would basically play with it until she fell asleep. She'd jump at the mice when they came out of their little holes, and then when the mice went back in, she'd stick her little paws in the holes, still trying to catch them. Sometimes she would even run around the back of the house to try to get the mice. Oh, so much fun. BUT, one of the little tongs that the mice go on broke after about a week. We tried putting it back together with different kinds of tape, using Q-tip to support the piece with tape, and wrapping it with a twisty-tie. Nothing could really get it back in working order. I mean, she still had one mouse to play with, but it was still disappointing. I see that others have experienced the same thing. This toy would be five stars if it didn't break so easily. :(
