Perhaps my cat is already too sophisticated at eight months of age, but she still occasionally plays with the smaller squeaky mice. This toy was a total washout. She walked away from it when it had barely emerged from the wrapper, and hasn't touched it again. The "bell" does not ring, it thuds, and there is no discernible catnip odor. She did, however, enjoy getting into the Amazon box it shipped in. Save your money. A crumpled piece of newspaper has more play value.

I have three cats, the moment I pulled this thing from the package one of them started going nuts. He turns into a wild animal when attacking this new toy. One of my other cats is interested in it too, but the first cat seems to have established complete ownership over it.
