Neko Flies - Small Kittenator with Rod - Interchangeable Toy

I have five cats (I have three cats that are 4 yrs and two that are 7 yrs). I am a sucker every time for a new cat toy, I probably get into them more than my cats... But, all five of my cats go nuts over this toy, even the one who generally is too scared to play around the other cats. She tosses off her fear and plows through the other cats to get to the toy. Most of my cats leap several feet off the ground to get to the toy when I am swinging it around.

My only comment from a human perspective is, the rod is too short. I am so used to the Da Bird toy with the long wand. This toy takes a little more effort to toss and often lands short of my target. And while my cats love the Da Bird toys, the wire always frays and breaks. The Neko toy, on the other hand, has a heavy, woven string line. It looks like it would be significantly more durable than the Da Bird wand toys, as long as it wasn't left out in between play times.

These toys are a great way to get your cats playing, especially if you have an overweight cat that likes to play. A few play sessions, make some happy tired cats!

It is great, however, the string really distracts my cat and I wish it were a neutral color. I also find both the string and the wand too long. The mouse itself is great.

My cat loves this toy so much, she ignores all her other toys and is addicted to this, the only drawback is the fur attactment got broken by my cat in a week. Bottom line amazing toy that cats will love, but toy won't last long.

I didnt get mine here cuz I forgot to check here before I did but if I had I would of saved $3 so this is the best price I think.

I have tried a few of these pole mice a few times. Really the only one iv ever been able to find in stores. When she was lil and as an adult, its big and furry, when she was lil she couldnt really fit it in her mouth and now she cant either cuz shes missing 2 k-9s. I tried another pretty maybe very popular one even tho iv seen it have the same complaints I have. It is prickly so she could not grab it with her mouth period, not to mention all the metal hooks and loops at the base of the mouse and the line is wire. She really liked it but I was scared to death cuz its SO dangerous. So then I tried one I thought would be great cuz the line was all string and a bare mouse (no fur)(she likes thoughs) but I got it and it was like a rock so not only could she not grab it with her mouth, I had to be careful not to hit her with it. So I even tried hollowing it out and stuffing it with cat nip, did not work. So bc of this neither one of us has liked, used these kind of toys. So its a good thing we'v always played hide in go seek, chase, peek a boo and tickle monster. But since she is 13, with a respertory condition she has to be in the mood now. But I just got this today, she was not in the mood to play but she played for a long time and not only could she grab it with her mouth cuz it does not hurt her in any way! I clipped her nails before we played, she hates me for a week when i do that. But after we played she laid with me and purred and everything! U have no idea how ecstatically happy I am!!! Im just sad for my baby and I that it took me so long to find this toy!
