My dog goes crazy over toys that make sounds other than the usual squeak, so we got this for her Christmas stocking-the response was gratifying. After being chewed most of the day, the "dude" is still in one piece and singing his crazy song. Warning-you may find yourself singing it at random moments.

My dog, Fozzie, loves this toy. We had bought one previously from a clearance bin at the pet store. He carried it around with him for months. he's a terrier and shreds everything but this one he treated very nicely. The song became known in our house as 'Fozzie's Theme'.

One day he went a little too far and bit it wrong, breaking the inner sound box. It was a sad day. I was lucky to find these on Amazon and ordered 3 of them.

I wish I'd taken a video of when we gave it to him. It was like Christmas morning for a two year old. His face lit up and he grabbed it and carried it around not letting it out of his sight for days.

They're not sturdy and he's already broken two of the three. But they're cheap, and as long as they stay cheap I can keep buying them and letting him play until they croak. I'd suggest only supervised play though since they're not sturdy, you don't want a dog choking on the box once he's able to open it up (and if your dog is like mine, he will).

We are on our third Deedle Dude Shark, because our 10 month old Lab loves him. He looks so cute with the shark in his mouth, while it plays it's musical tune, which we now hum randomly because it's funny, and well, we hear it a lot. When Deedle Dude is pooped out from Lab puppy enthusiam, we buy him a new one. He loves it so much that even after many months he still plays with him every day.. It's also very soft, like suede. Great toy.

My dog absolutely loves this toy! Unfortunately the "singing" part doesn't last very long. Would be perfect if it was made a little sturdier! I did buy him a new one and have my fingers crossed.

My 100 lb Akita mix destroys all his toys. Not the dude. Loves the dude. We call it playing the song of his people and have now made up dances to the song and alternate lyrics. I found it to be pretty durable. The first one lasted about 3 months until he sang his last song, which for a dog toy that he plays with multiple times a day is a pretty good deal. Just got his second one next day delivery due to all the sadness of the first dudes passing. Think I may have to stock up.
