Mr. Herzher'S- Combo Scratching Platform

My cat Bear loves this scratching post which makes me love it even more. Only problem I seem to have is have about a month of using it, he pulls the sizal right off (this has happened on 3 of them). Now nothig that a bit of Gorilla glue has not fixed, and fixed it very well. But I think the company should look into other options when gluing the sizal down, which is why I only give it 3 stars. But I will continue to buy this as long as it is available, since a bottle of glue compared to buying new furniture is incomparable.

I like the look and construction of this scratching "post". However, upon the first time my cat used it, the sisal fabric started coming out from the frame, (on one end). This happened right away. I'm afraid it won't last very long if it's already coming apart. I'm disappointed, because I did like the versatility of this post.

I've an older cat who pees on carpet (as well as scratching on it) so I was looking for a scratch post solution that didn't have a carpeted base and wasn't entirely vertical either. I choose this one and that particular cat does use it.

It's generally constructed well enough and the sisal weave should last a long time, which is good because I don't see any way to replace it.

Because of the cat's propensity for peeing on carpet I haven't left it flat, which is an option he'd probably use too, until he peed on it.

The sisal pulled away from the frame the first time one of my cats used it. Neither cat bothers with it anymore.
