These stuffingless toys are great, and the price here is on par with local stores. This particular toy is no exception. I have a herding dog who loves to chew, and he gets excited every time he sees (and smells) one of these new toys come into the house. About every six months I get another one, having tried 5 or 6 in the last few years. All are about the same the squeakers will be eviscerated within hours, so supervise closely at first to make sure they don't get eaten. The last one we had was a raccoon, and even when it was just down to about half a tail (the rest having been torn off and gradually thrown away by me as they were discarded by him), he loved it. He would grab onto it and still try to play tug of war, and still loves to have it thrown. These are pretty lightweight and can't be thrown more than about ten feet, but my dog doesn't care. Highly recommended if for nothing else but the fact that you don't have to clean up stuffing all day.

My newest rescue pup seemed indifferent to most toys but when she heard this crackle she grabbed it and played for an hour.
