Turns out my cat's only interest in this is to attempt to pull the decorative strings off when I roll it toward him. The strings pull off fairly easily, and I don't know if this is a potential danger to unsupervised cats or not.

It's quite heavy, and doesn't roll easily, and maybe that's why my cat doesn't care for it.

The Roll and Pop Peek a Boo Cat Ball got my cat's interest immediately after opening on Christmas day, and never let go. He avoided all other toys and treats to play with the ball, eventually going to sleep with it right next to him.

For my cat's happiness, this was well worth it.

I bought this a while ago and it wasn't a big hit, but then Patsy started playing with it--especially when I sprinkled a little catnip on it. He grabs it and kicks/scratches it with his back paws. The mice have all fallen out (but make good separate toys) and the yarn has started coming off, but the squeaker still works great! Anticipating the complete destruction of the yarn given Patsy's energetic play, I bought 2 more.

I was disappointed when my item arrived. it looked really cute on line but when arrived was surprised it was so poorly constructed; in fact, a piece was broken inside and I ended up returning it. Although I did get a refund quickly, was purchasing as a gift and had to hunt for another.
