Not one of my catnip-loving kitties was the least bit impressed by the product. I tried hiding the toy away for a bit and reintroducing it, but the result was the same. No idea why they rejected it, but they did. Maybe because they couldn't grasp it with their teeth? Or the compactness interfered with the flavor/scent?
This is a good concept but my cats did not take to it. They patted it around for a few seconds and never looked back. The catnip mouser is very hard (like a rock). I think if it were softer, perhaps my cats would have been more interested in playing with it. I'm giving it 3 stars based on my cats' interest in it; otherwise, it is as described and maybe your cats will take to it. Who knows...
