This bag was perfect for traveling. I was transporting a small kitten, only about 4 1/2 lbs. He had plenty of space and the opening in the top allowed me to reach in to comfort him. The privacy panels gave me the option of giving him lots to look at, plus it gave him plenty of circulation. I would purchase another SturdiBag pet carrier, although I might by the larger bag for my adult cat.
