PetPal 4 Level Jute Made Cat Furniture, 22-Inch by 15-Inch by 52-Inch

I bought this to give our 1 year old kitten a jumping board to climb into our basement window other than our DVD rack (which resulted in DVDs everywhere!). He was apprehensive at first, but putting a little catnip on it helped. Now he uses it to climb into the window and will also just hang out on the lower levels. He has even begun using the scratching posts (instead of our furniture!)a definite plus. Our older cat is still checking it out but warming up to it. I docked one star because the opening to the condo on the bottom was a little small for our big boys (12.5 and 14lbs) so they don't go in it. It otherwise seems pretty sturdy for their weight.

Both of my cats use this cat tree. I like the look of it, it doesn't have the fluffy carpet like some of the others. The material is sturdy and the cats like to scratch every inch of it, not just the posts. The only issue is that it's a bit wobbly. And since my cats are about 12lbs each, a little older, and not avid climbers, they hesitate sometimes when on the upper tiers. But they use it because it's next to a window and they like to hang out on it and see what's going on outside. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Shipped and delivered on time, the product is exactly as pictured. It is easy to install and it looks nice after it's put together. It seems relatively stable, although just to be safe I put it so that it gets support from my desk as well as the wall. My cat has no problems jumping onto the first flat level from the ground, she hasn't quite figured out how to go up through the hole on the 2nd flat level.

I'll also second the comment the previous reviewer gave about the cat-dome. It's a bit too enclosed for my 1.5year old 8-10lb cat to comfortably fit in. Also, I wish that the posts were covered by the same coarse material as the levels, as my cat has shown no interest in scratching the polls because she can't get a grip on them.

Since my last review, my cat has gotten used to the cat-dome and enjoys it quite a bit--seems to have no trouble getting in or out anymore. Also, I have reconfigured this cat tree into two separate parts (both of which are medium height now instead of being 1 super tall structure--see pictures). I find that this adds stability to the separate parts as well as 2 fun things for my cat to explore. Also, my cat has started to use the scratching posts!

I unpacked the box and left the pieces on the floor while I went out. When I returned my cat was asleep in the enclosed component. I put the assembled cat tree in the window. My cat sits in the top watching the world outside. He loves jumping around from level to level. He has all but deserted my furniture for wanting to be on his furniture.

This cat furniture is sturdy, attractive and easy to assemble.

This was easy to construct. My only issue is the length of the screw on the top level. You can feel it poking through the padding. otherwise, a pretty decent cat tree.
