The description for this product says that you don't get to choose what color gets shipped and I figured that's fine, my dogs won't care. Well in fact they do because the item shipped wasn't a color at all, it was clear! As you might imagine, this is extremely difficult to see in the water and if it wasn't for the colored rope we would have lost or abandoned this item by now. These are great retriever toys but I'm giving 3 stars for whomever thought a transparent water toy was a good idea.

My dog is just too "enthusiastic" about the water, and likes to tear things apart after she retrieves them. her and her "brother" grabbed an end and destroyed it in a matter of seconds. My dog loves this toy. He will play for a long time with this in our pool. I had purchased this toy before and he wore it out. He had it for about a year. There wasn't any pet stores that carried it anymore and then I found it on amazon. I was so excited not to mention how excited Harley, my yellow lab was.
