my cat loves it and thinks its the best toy in the world. :) The feathers do fall out over time, but that's expected of any feather toy. Good buy at a good price.

I wish that they had also added more feathers when they added the longer pole, because that's going to shorten the lifespan. I buy big toys because I have a big cat, and he likes to chew feathers. Overall it's a decent substitute for what I normally buy, though.
