Our young Lab loves this pool, and when he cannot be out swimming in deep water, this pool gives him a place to soak and cool off after running. This is in April when the air is usually quite cool, so I expect that it will be an even bigger treat in the summer I think I'll join him!Read Best Reviews of Guardian Gear Splash About Dog Pool, Large, Sky Blue Here
I bought one of these two years ago, red, 48" but when I wrote to the manufacturer asking if it was defective appearing to have a hidden leak ruining the internal supports that run up the sides. The response was YES, and I got a refund. The walls bow out and finally fail. I bought this large blue one last fall figuring that if they knew there was a defect, it would be fixed by now. Why else would Amazon continue to sell unless fixed? Well the heat hit and I put it out about two weeks ago. Within 4-6 hours, the walls started bowing out. Not sure the volume but quite a few gallons of water and I live in drought stricken CA. Drained it and found nothing. No tiny holes, cracks, nothing visible. My guess: There is a problem with the seal to the drain, which appears to be actually made for some other purpose, that allows water to seep into the walls. They feel made of heavy cardboard so they act like sponges.
The old red one appears off the market and this one should also be removed. They have not even attempted to fix the problem, just stop one and make a new model. Same problem though.
Why does Amazon continue to carry? Save your money, this is $100 bucks down the drain.

I guess I will read the return policy more carefully next time. This pool started leaking at the seams within days of purchase and set up. The pool had barely been used by my dogs who just likes to lay down in water....nothing rough. The seller's policy is too bad, we only take returns if BRAND NEW an NEVER USED. Well how do you know a swimming pool is going to leak unless you use it?Other comments on pool.....although never mentioned in instructions this pool must be on a PERFECTLY LEVEL surface and will collapse if the weight of water is uneven against walls. Pool very difficult to drain....drain sits several inches off ground level leaving several inches of water in pool.....an amount this is TOO HEAVY to manually remove from pool by lifting pool to dump water.
