Within one day of use, the hanging ball was lost during the walk. The wrap-around part was too big if we only wrapped it once, and too small to wrap it around twice, so we cut it to make it fit better. The light is not very bright. Would not recommend.

When you live on the 45 parallel, walking the dog after work in the winter means walking in the dark. I bought this to keep an eye on our big knuckle head. I found the collar ends pulled out too easily so I glued them in. The "charm" though bright enough to see from afar was WAY more effort to activate than it should have been, My wife didn't have the finger strength and had to use the cap of a sharpy marker to turn it on and off. I could just barely do it my self. The end came when the "Charm" somehow came off while out on a run one night.

I was very excited about this buy. I live in an apt. so I am constantly walking my dog in the street at night. The "collar" falls apart on walks and the "name tag" will turn off on its own. I would not buy it again, but it does provide some light for passing cars.

This lighted collar would only work for a very small dog or cat that does not do much running or rolling. The collar is basically a tubular lighted piece that fits into a small rectangle and then is held in with a small plastic knob. The charm works well on another collar but not on this lightweight tube. I didn't send it back because the charm works well but we have big dogs and the collar is not meant for a sport dog.

This is a pretty good product. We are lucky that we can double loop it and it slides over our dogs head (we have a 14 pound pug).

She literally disappears in our backyard at night and we are a corner lot on the "main" road (ok we live on a little man made island so it's only neighbor traffic, but still scary when you can't see your dog!)

I don't know if we would use this if we had to latch and unlatch the LED thing to get it on and off though. It wasn't really easy to tighten down and it seemed that with regular locking and unlocking something would easily break.

So it's a great buy for a small dog, but i'd be hesitant with a big dog unless you planned to trim it and hook up to the size you'd need for a slip over style "collar"
