The second I put this toy mouse in front of her she sniffed it for a short moment, roughly rubbed her face in it, and then grabbed it with her paw to play with it. She rolled around on the floor with it for quite a few minutes, which made me happy because normally with any other cat toy she is only interested for a few seconds. When it comes to the cat nip inside this cat nip toy though it is a whole other story. SHE LOVES IT!!! She'll even grab it on her own as she walks by without needing me to shake it in front of her (again, with her other cat toys I had to do this, but she does it by herself with this toy).

Also, I used the cat nip that came with this toy, so it's good cat nip. Stick to this brand of cat nip if you want to keep your cat happy. It's easy to put the cat nip in. There is a little velcro opening that you sprinkle the cat nip into. It closes quite securely so no cat nip gets out, even if your cat is rough with it.

Overall, I highly recommend this if you're looking for good quality cat nip along with a good cat toy.

We have 3 cats; a fat lazy older kitty, a lean tiny energetic one, and a playful medium sized tabby. Each one LOVES this toy!! They especially love the tail, and we constantly find it in funny nooks and crannies and have to dog it out for them to play again. I like that you can refill the catnip.

Our 6-month-old kitten absolutely LOVES these. Since the day we brought him home, this has been his favorite toy.
