My cat is very large (15+ pounds and long), and this hidey hole bed had plenty of room for him inside, which was a concern with some other models. The top is plush and soft as well. My only complaint is that the cat managed to pull off the ball on a string in under five minutes from taking it out of the box!

This is a highly inconspicuous attractive cat cave. I hate walking into people's houses and seeing old carpeted cat condos, which I am guilty of owning too. So I bought this beautiful cat cave to upgrade. BUT, Kip, my crazy feline, hates his new cat cave and continues to beg to go in the garage where his hideous 5' tall shredded up cat condo is stored. The cat cave carpet has beautiful smooth, plush carpet with not a seam showing, which may be why my cat prefers the rougher (cheaper) carpet feel of his old condo. Darn!

The top is not comfortable,,,,should be more cushy, larger in width with possibly a lip around the edge to make it 'cuddly'

Also, the bottom is small too .... I have adult cats with an average weight of 10# to 15# top, this is more of a KITTEN bed.

My cats ignored it .....so I had a choice of returning it for credit or donating it to KittenKrazy (a wonderful cat rescue organization in Medina, Oh) which I did. S/b advertised for SMALL cats or kittens.

This is a big, comfortable cat condo, it's just too short for our cat to see out. My husband solved the problem by cutting in half our tall, decaying previous cat condo and mounting this plush one on top. Now I cat loves it.
