Petstages Quiet Glow Moth Glow-in-the-Dark Cat Night time Toy

As mentioned in other reviews, this toy is pretty stable no wild rocking back and forth. My kitten ignored it at first, but she's taken a liking to it and will wrestle with it. As advertised, it is quiet even when she pulls it off the rug onto the hardwood. As with all cat toys, it's a matter of the cat's taste! Who knows if she'll still like it in 6 months? It entertains her now, though, so I'm glad I got it.

I got this in hopes to (quietly) entertain my cat while I'm sleeping. However, she hardly plays with it at all. It doesn't really catch much momentum when it's pawed at; it just stands back up slowly instead of swinging around a lot, so it seems motionless and dull. Also, the moth doesn't seem to attract my cat very much, unlike mice with tail or feathers. I've tried putting catnip on it but she still doesn't like it. I regret not looking at the reviews before buying this randomly at my local pet store. Maybe otehr cats might like it more, but in general I don't recommend it.

Maybe i have a picky cat but my cat does not play with this toy. Maybe if it were a mouse with a tail or a birdy, but the butterfly does not get his attention at all. tried all the tricks to make him play with it....but it's only collecting dust.

This isn't what i expected...I thought that there was actually the dots that lit up and were glow in the dark but its just the stem. My cat doesn't even like it.
