very cute and my dog liked it, however he was able to chew it's head off in less than two days. He's 85 lbs so this toy may be more suitable for small or medium sized dogs.

Patches loves all his toys like this. He can't tear it up. He loves rubber toys better than tearing the stuffing out of his old toys.

Adopted 3mo lab/dalmation mix in June, friend sent this item

to Otis shortly thereafter. Pup definitely a chewer and plays with

his 'squeeky chicken' indoors & out. Product has been quite durable

after 4 mos of daily use, no missing parts but quite a bit of the

paint has come off. Red from comb or feet WILL mark inside walls

(took me awhile to figure out where red marks were coming from)

Ordered a backup/replacement from Amazon, 1st one arrived

w/squeeker already rattling inside. Sent back for replacement.

Second one was squeeking when arrived but failed within few weeks.

Otis got a tear started in plastic so time to discard.

Lasted about a month so decided to try the kooky mallard instead.

Pros: Loud squeaker

Cons: That squeak will last all of 10 minutes if you have a dog with teeth.

I have a small dog that is, admittedly, a chewer. However most squeak toys last a couple of months at least. This one lasted about 15 minutes (if I'm being generous) before one of the wings was gone. In these type of toys the instant there is another hole the squeak goes away. Another half an hour later and the other wing is gone, the toes on one foot, the entire left foot, and the "hair" is gone.
