My kitten adores her new play thing. She catches her cat naps at the top and in the circle. She absolutely loves the mouse attachment, although she ate off its tail and gave it a mohawk in just a couple of weeks. She rarely uses the house or the swinging rope, but shows a mild interest in them when she cares to, as cats will do.

We have it positioned so it leads her right to the window ledge, which works nicely for her. The tree wobbles a bit when she's at the top but I can't tell that she even notices. Also, the height is great. I am about 5'9, and it's just perfect for my sleeping kitten to give me sweet nose kisses when she's on her uppermost platform. My goodness, I've become so cheesy since becoming a cat owner.

All things considered, since claiming it as her own, kitten has come to love her toy. And we love to watch her love it. And so everybody wins! Worth the purchase.

Francesca is a special little shelter rescue with 5 toes on her front paws and a broken tail. She is a very gratelful kitten and is being raised by 2 Dobermans,

(her dad is 116 lbs and her mom is 77 lbs). They love her dearly but are amazed at how she plays, hangs and jumps off her tree. Although we put one of her food bowls on the top level her dad Rocky managed to stand up and eat her food without even moving the bowl. His cat food breath was a quick give away!!!

Francesca especially loves the mouse hanging from the tree. Within 4 weeks, she had pulled it off and carries it around with her, playing and throwing it up in the air. Recently, her dad kind of chewed on it so we are hoping to get Frannie a replacement from Go Pet Club. The Tree has been a constant source of happiness for not only Francesca but for me, Rocky, Arielle and Cousin Angus (me and the 3 Dobermans are facinated watching her play and sleep in the tree).

Obviously, if a 116 lb Doberman can stand on his hind legs and eat out of her food bowl the furniture is pretty sturdy. The color, size, height and width are perfect for the wall it is standing against. Thank you for Frannie's tree house.

I really like this item and so do my cats. The only problem we have is that one of the screws is too short (and its the longest one) so now we have to find another way of securing the post to the house section. Apart from this great product.

On the plus side:

1. My super-shedding black cat's lost fur will blend in nicely.

2. The platform above the cylinder is large enough for her to stretch out on.

3. Assembly is easy (took me 30 minutes) and all necessary tools are supplied.

4. Offers a variety of places/things for a cat to take interest in.

On the down side:

1. A wee bit wobbly to start, so will probably not last more than a couple of years.

2. The condo really should be half again as big. (Half the cats I've played servant to would have had a hard time fitting their adult selves into it.)

The tree is definitley not 60" as advertised. It is a few inches shorter. Wasnt that hard to put together. The house is very small, will not fit a grown cat.

The mouse attatched to the string on the top level was ripped off by my cat the first day. Not sure how to get a new one? Other than that, the product is good and sturdy.
