Took my dog all of 3 minutes to completely destroy one end of the bone. She left me picking up small chewed up bits of rubber for the entire afternoon.

I bought this because my dogs are heavy chewers. KONG toys are the only "invincible" toys they have not destroyed. But I thought I'd try this because it didnt have many edges. I thought they wouldn't be able to chew off a sharper edge. I was SEVERELY disappointed. My Boarder Collie had it destroyed within 1 hour of having it out of the box. Not only was breaking in the center but he was chewing pieces off of it. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE HEAVY CHEWERS.

I purchased the large Hurley bone because it was supposed to be indestructible, but after about 10 mins my part beagle/boston terrier mix dog had one end in pieces. My pittbull destroys all toys but the kong beehive and the blue thing. I am desperate for indestructible toys. My pocketbook cant take much more experimentation, I thought I would try this toy. Within 12 hours he was able to take a pretty big chunk out of this toy. NOT as great as it claims. Also, I was upset when I found this toy at REI for the same price. I could have avoided shipping costs and it could have been easily returnable...with their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Its not worth it to return, because what I would have paid in shipping would surpass the value of the toy.

I'll start off by saying my lab LOVES these bones. She has had 3 of them. She always chews them to bits, but it takes her months to do it. I called the company to ask for a replacement, but they never returned my call. I would still buy another one just because my lab loves them so much and they keep her busy for hour upon hour.
