Petstages Whirly Gig Toy

I bought this for my adult cat who loves playing with pens, AA batteries, and other things he probably shouldn't. Even though the picture had it next to a kitten, I assumed the toy was bigger. My bad. I'd say it's about 6" long at the most with the ball about the size of an aggie--perfect for a small cat or kitten, not so much for my 12 pounder. I did spray it with catnip which held his attention for a bit longer. Maybe eventually he'll grow to love it. Right now I think he wonders why it keeps whirling around and whacking his face :)

It works as it should and seems pretty good quality, but unfortunately neither of the cats want anything to do with it. Disappointing since my friend's cat LOVES hers.

My kitty cat has a bad habit of biting wires in the house so i got this for her. Its fantastic, it rolls so she chases it as she pushes it around and also she chews it! Awesome toy!

The problem with this toy is that it does not work on carpet. (At least not mine!) It seems to work best in the kitchen, on the tile. However, my cat doesn't want to play with it no matter what. This toy was a waste of money.

I bought this toy when my 2 Ragdoll cats were about one year old. A year later it is still a favorite for one of them, with toy springs being the only things that top it. My cat will chase this around the house almost daily. Definitely a good purchase!
