my cat and i both love this toy-to make it more interesting i take the ball out of the bag and put it in a large open box-i cover the top of box with a pillow case-it is so funny watching her trying to get this crazy ball out of the box-this is our favorite toy. thank you amazon, you are the best.

I bought this for my husky. He had no interest in the bag (I didn't think that would last long with him anyway), but finds the ball inside intriguing as it moves around the room on its own. It's small enough for him to carry in his mouth, but too large for him to bite down on (I'd actually prefer it to be a little bigger so he could not even put it in his mouth, but so far, this has not been a problem.) He will play with it for maybe 10-15 minutes before loosing interest, but will enjoy it again in several hours. He must be supervised when playing with it as it could inadvertently open. It might be difficult for an elderly person or someone with arthritis to unscrew the ball to insert the batteries.

i read such great reviews about this item, and my cat just ignores this toy. I thought he would play with it as the concept seems intriguing, but nop. Yet another toy collecting dust. (Ikea's "dollar mouse" stuffed animal still is his personal favorite to play fetch with)

My two Siamese could care less. They watch it roll around but dont chase or stalk it. My 4 yr old nephew got more excited about it. I may try putting the ball in a pillow case and put that in a box as suggested by another review. I do appreciate the build quality. Very solid.The batteries so far have outlasted any other motorized cat toys. It does seem to only have ON and OFF. If its on a timer I haven't seen it turn off....
